About Us

Swahili children's books came into being because we believe that children should have the opportunity to learn Swahili and African culture. As parents we were frustrated with not being able to read fun and accessible bilingual books to our children in our own language.

So we decided to do something about it: we wrote some bilingual Swahili books that are actually fun to read!

Our Swahili bilingual children's books teach languages through stories and short simple rhymes.

And have been created as a fun way to help children learn Swahili in an entertaining and educational way.

The books are bilingual in English and Swahili language, which will encourage your child to learn both languages; by reading the stories and rhymes over and over again, it will help them build vocabulary, imagination, and confidence.
